Sony brings AirPlay 2 and HomeKit to more high-end TVs

Recently, Sony declared that a portion of its better quality TVs would include support for Apple’s AirPlay 2 and HomeKit conventions. Presently, Sony is carrying that help to more TVs.

The update is accessible on the 2018 A9F and Z9F models, just as the 2019 A9G, Z9G, X950G and X850G TVs, in the US, Canada and Latin America.

AirPlay 2 will enable clients to stream content legitimately from their iPhone, iPad or Mac, and with HomeKit support, clients will have the option to control their perfect TV utilizing Siri or the Home application.

As we noted when AirPlay 2 and HomeKit arrived on Sony’s Z9G Series 8K LCDs, A9G Series OLEDs and X950G 4K LCD TVs, the update mixes Apple’s tech with the Android TV stage. There’s no specialized explanation this can’t occur, however it’s as yet intriguing to see.
